If you want to get somewhere as a member of a Mastermind TEAM, you have to know where you want to go and how to get there. Then never, never, never, give up!
The secret of life as a Mastermind member isn’t what happens to you, but what you do with what happens to you.
Help other people to cope with their problems and your own will be easier to cope with.
Never use the word impossible seriously again. Toss it into the verbal waste basket.
Self-trust is the first secret of success as a Mastermind TEAM member. So believe in and trust yourself.
Stand up to your obstacles and do something about them. You will find that they haven’t half the strength you think they have.
Joy increases as you give it, and diminishes as you try to keep it for yourself. In giving it to your members, you will accumulate a deposit of joy greater than you ever believed possible.
How you think about a problem is more important than the problem itself – so always think positively.
Go at life with abandon; give it all you’ve got. And life will give all it has to you.

That’s an awesome post! I have personally experienced this: I viewed a situation from one angle and felt rather badly about it. Then, prompted by Mastermind members, I shifted my view and experienced the SAME situation very differently, much more positively! Thank you! I love our Mastermind group!
If you are not part of a well-run Mastermind group I recommend you join or even start one in your area. You can find a lot of great articles that point the way on this website. Enjoy!

I’ve found that taking a few minutes every day to be grateful helps me focus on positivity a lot more. I’ve set my cell phone’s alarm to beep at the same time every day to remind me, and already the results have been wonderful. Even if you’re stressed and overwrought, you always have a moment – even if it’s just a moment – to slip into positivity. :)

I personally came upon a challenging situation at work today. My team misunderstood my directions, and the results were less then favorable. My first instinct was to be upset about what happened, but then I thought about the situation more clearly. I figured that getting upset would not solve anything. Instead I decided to take a more positive approach. I masterminded with my team and came up with a relatively simple solution in a short period of time that would remedy the problem. Thinking positively is not always the easiest thing to do, but it is always the best way to go.

I have always looked for the “silver lining” in a situation and considered myself to be a positive person. That said, when I joined the mastermind, my attitudes and though patterns have improved even farther! The weekly contact with and input from the other mastermind members has impacted me at a deep level. It’s not about putting a positive spin on things, but truly learning to view them through a different lense.
